Buildng Bridges Across Countries Through Exchange Visits

27th of September to 17th of October 2009 YARAC participated in the first phase of Jos/Bradford Community Xchange Programme in Bradford City. Community Xchange is one of the three main Xchange activities of Global Xchange managed by the British Council and Voluntary Services overseas. Community Xchange is made up of a team of 30 participants with equal number from U.K and Nigeria . Each of the 15 participants from Nigeria were paired with participant from the U.K based on their professional skills and interest to work together for a period of six weeks in both exchange countries.

The Second phase of Community Xchange programme will commence from the 15th of November to 7th December 2009. YARAC will host Elicia Crossley for a period of three weeks.
